Hotel Aluasun Torrenova - Palma Nova

Part of the Alua Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Aluasun Torrenova is situated around 100 metres from the beach, on the rocky Torrenova headland between the lively resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 25km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 200 metres from the main resort centre, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and nightlife.

Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern Hotel Aluasun Torrenova has a total of 254 guest rooms, including 214 standard twin rooms, 25 singles and a further 15 Suites, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as a multi sports activity area for football, tennis and volleyball etc, and both table tennis and pool tables.

The Hotel Aluasun Torrenova also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
