Hotel Europe Playa Marina - Illetas

Part of the Europe Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Europe Playa Marina has a prime sea front location overlooking a small beach in the exclusive resort of Illetas on the south west coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 14km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern Hotel Europe Playa Marina has a total of 159 guest rooms, including 148 twin rooms and a further 11 Junior Suites, all of which are built over 6 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the Hotel Europe Playa Marina also have a comfortable lounge area with additional sofa beds and supply both bath robes and pool towels, and all guest rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Europe Playa Marina also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 100 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with spacious sun terraces overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Europe Playa Marina also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment in the "La Taberna" show bar with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
