Hotel Samos - Magaluf

The 3 star Hotel Samos is situated around 250 metres from the beach, in the lively resort of Magaluf on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern Hotel Samos has a total of 417 guest rooms, which are built over 9 floors and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children’s playground and mini club, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Samos also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, archery and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
