Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Sol Mirador de Calas has an enviable cliff top location between the Cala Domingos and Cala Antena beaches in the popular resort of Calas de Mallorca on the picturesque east coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 600 metres from the centre of the resort where you will find a selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern Hotel Sol Mirador de Calas has a total of 263 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin rooms and Junior Suites, all of which are built over 12 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television with international channels, a safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have panoramic sea views.

In addition to the above features, all guest rooms are also provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show-cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large lagoon style swimming pool and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Sol Mirador de Calas also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities for adults, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring aqua spinning, aqua gym, Latin dancing and fitness, as well as evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

Please be aware that although the Hotel Sol Mirador de Calas does accept bookings from families with travelling with young children, this hotel is most suited for adults.
