Hotel Tonga Tower Design - C'an Picafort

Part of the B G Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Tonga Tower Design is situated around 500 metres from the beach in the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 150 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern Hotel Tonga Tower Design has a total of 370 guest rooms, including 255 twin rooms, 35 Junior Suites and a further 80 one bedroom self catering apartments, all of which are built over 14 floors and set amidst almost 20,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a satellite television with international channels, a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, apartments at the Hotel Tonga Tower Design also have an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and cooking utensils, and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds.

All guests rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a choice of 3 air conditioned buffet style restaurants, including the Blue Sky Restaurant which is located on the 16th floor of the hotel, all of which offer guests a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes.

Other facilities include a games room, public internet terminals, with high speed WiFi internet access also available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both pool and lounge bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Tonga Tower Design also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Tonga Tower Design also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a fitness centre with cardiovascular gymnasium and Turkish/Steam Bath, as well as offering a variety of other beauty and massage treatments.

The Hotel Tonga Tower Design also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
