Sol Lunamar Apartments - Palma Nova

Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 3 key Sol Lunamar Apartments are situated around 50 metres from the beach and maritime promenade, in lively resort of Palma Nova on the south west coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 25km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 100 metres from the resort centre, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005, the modern Sol Lunamar complex has a total of 139 guest rooms, including 5 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 134 studio flats, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include both pool and table tennis tables.
