The 2 key Sofia Apartments have an enviable beach front location, in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, 1.5km from the harbour and commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of shops, bars restaurant and nightlife, and 2km from the historic Alcudia Old Town.

Built in 1987, the modern low rise Sofia resort complex has a total of 93 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between 2 three storey buildings, and set amidst almost 1,500m2 of well maintained Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glassware, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the bay. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.
